The University Stadium, which can hold 42,000 spectators, is filled to capacity at every match, thanks to the incomparable passion that has made the Tigres a unique team in the country. As part of its technology, this sports compound boasts the largest screen in Latin America, at nearly 41 feet wide and a little over 28 feet high, in addition to 25 closed-circuit cameras that record everything that happens on and off the field.

The screen for displaying instant replays in the University Stadium was subject to constant outages due to disturbances in the Federal Electricity Commission power supply.
An electrical study was performed, dimensioning the variables of the power supply and its capacity in kVA. The study revealed that the main problem was the voltage spikes and sags, which caused poor image quality onscreen. Installation of a power conditioner was recommended.
